First Steps

Booking - The host/organiser.
Firstly thank you for agreeing to host an Equine Agility Clinic.
All our clinics are tailored to suit your requirements.
Points for you to consider.
If not an arena, the designated agility area needs to be fully enclosed and sited not to close to any electric fencing.
Toilet facilities must be available.
Space for parking trailers and lorries (if needed)
Please encourage participants to read the clinic information available on these pages.
Pre-booking is essential.
Payment is before the day via PayPal and through the website using the booking form - this will help to make your life easier by people making a commitment and not dropping out at the last minute. Booking form link
Booking - Participant.

We look forward to seeing you and your equine on the day.

Please contact us before hand with any concerns you may have about your day.
Let your host/organiser know ASAP if you are unable to attend on the day.

Payment must be before the day, doing so ensures a commitment to participate which will be a great help to your host/organiser to ensure participant numbers.

General Advice.

The handler

Consideration should be given to the wearing of appropriate clothing suitable for the weather conditions on the day - the same applies to your choice of footwear.
A hard hat is recommended and is a compulsory requirement for all juniors 14 years and under
In hot weather we suggest you bring with you a bottle of water.

The Equine.

You may consider bringing along a NZ rug if it is very cold and wet and your equine is clipped.
Please let us know in advance if your equine is a colt/stallion.
Please inform the clinic facilitator before the start of the clinic if you would like special consideration given to your equine regarding space and others keeping a suitable distance from you - e.g. mare in season, known to kick in company.
Young and senior equines may need to take frequent breaks to just stand and have quiet moment.
